I don’t know how long it’s been since my last post but I blame it all on work. It has me waking up at 05:30 every morning, somedays even earlier. I’m exhausted. And so, despite waking up at 06:00 on this dreary Saturday, I went straight back to sleep.

On a completely unrelated note: there’s a very pretty girl sitting across from me in the coffee shop.

This reminds me of high school. During educational videos and all the lights in the room were off, I’d slip underneath my desk and untie my friend’s shoelaces and tie them to his desk or sometimes tie his laces together with the guy beside him. And when the class was over…DISASTER. =D

I am a great friend. I help my friends tie their shoelaces.

I’ve survived the first week! But the mornings are brutally cold and today was drearily wet. Having to run around installing things in such weather is less than desirable but that’s fine I suppose because it pays off quite nicely. What’s the pay off?

Well, in this cagey little office…

I am the executioner of hard drives. Mwahaha!

First day of work. Wake up at 05:30. Ahhh!!! Busses better not be late today…

Oh I think this IS the best part. After a long night of playing custom maps in Starcraft II and Warcraft III with friends, I ended up sleeping at four in the morning. So naturally I wake up at around noon to fit in enough sleep. Anyway, moments after waking up and stumbling my way to the kitchen to drink coffee, I get a phone call from one of the guys who conducted my job interview. He offered me the job and I – in my awesome excitedness, confusion, and not-yet-awakedness – babbled a random string of words that he seemed to acknowledge and understand as, “YES, I’LL TAKE THE JOB.”

It all sort of went down like this…

“Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy, got my glasses…” Oh good Lord! It’s morning already?!

Get the phone call… *cue shock and utter disbelief*

Wait. WHAT?!

ZOMFGWTFBBQAHHHH!!!

Time to celebrate this momentous event with some…

Sorry, the excitement has taken a lot of energy out of me. I’m going back to sleep now. I personally find sleeping to be a wonderful way of celebrating things. For example, I’ve celebrated many New Year’s Eve in bed sleeping. And Christmas, and Valentine’s Day, and *insert holiday/event*.

I start next week. I am nervous. I am scared. Oh my goodness, this isn’t good news at all.

When I looked at the site stats today, my pupils dilated.

I’m rather upset at myself for having missed the 10k mark. But thank you =)

THERE’S A HUGEASS SPIDER IN MY ROOM AND I’M TOO BIG OF A PANSY TO DO ANYTHING!!!

I have to suit up and get into my spider catching gear.

OMG! I just woke up.

After two days of Thanksgiving dinners, I just flopped over onto my back and succumbed to food coma. Of course, I wasn’t quite as graceful as Sleeping Beauty or the cat. I’m still trying to get my thoughts straight right now. And it’s not going very well…

I could have easily said, “A bad interview.” But where’s the fun in that? And so I decided to list the ABC’s of it all to better illustrate just how bad it really was.

I just spent a good ten minutes pressing the volume buttons on my keyboard and going through audio options on my computer trying to figure out why there was no sound. Turns out, I didn’t plug the speakers into the computer.
